• IP address — collected automatically during upload and download requests
• File metadata — filename, file type, and file size
• Upload time — timestamp when the image was uploaded

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or physical address unless you voluntarily provide it through our contact form.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Store and serve your uploaded images to you and anyone you share links with
• Enforce auto-expiry settings so images are deleted at the selected time
• Enforce burn-on-view settings so images are deleted after the first view
• Generate aggregated analytics to understand usage patterns
• Improve our service, fix bugs, and enhance security

Data Retention

Images are deleted from our servers at the expiry time you select during upload. If you set auto-expiry (1 hour to 168 hours), the image is permanently deleted after that period. If you set burn-on-view, the image is deleted after the first view. Images without a set expiry remain stored until you manually delete them or we remove them for policy violations. We do not retain data longer than necessary to provide our service.

Third-Party Services

Xoxurl may use the following third-party services that collect their own data:

• Google Analytics — collects anonymous usage statistics to help us understand how visitors interact with our site
• Google AdSense — may set cookies to serve relevant advertisements when enabled
